Job Description
We are looking for a Power BI Engineer to join the team. The Power BI Engineer will work with other Data Engineers to support the Power BI tool and deliver data visualizations. This person will be required to build and manage Power BI for large scale data solutions. They will use Python and PySpark scripting. They will work closely with a team of Data & Visualization Architects, and Product Managers to support MS Fabric Experiences. This person must have knowledge and experience with data lakes, Apache Spark, big data processing, Azure services such as ADLS and Azure Synapse and system design principles. It is essential they present and collaborate with cross-functional teams, thus strong communication skills are necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
- Exceptional data modeling skills using Power BI
- Exceptional Python scripting skills
- Highly skilled in building complex visualizations
- Some experience using PySpark for scripting
- Experience in building and managing Power BI for large scale Data solutions
- MS Fabric experience
- Experience with Data Lake, Apache Spark and big data processing
- Knowledge of Azure services such as ADLS, Azure Synapse
- Solid understanding of system design principles
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for presenting detailed designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- PowerShell scripting
- Relevant certifications on Data/Visualization Tools
