Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing organization in Jupiter, FL, is undertaking a comprehensive IT infrastructure transformation. This initiative includes a full network redesign, expansion of office space by 5,000 sq. ft., and achieving SOC 2 compliance to strengthen security and operational standards. The Director of IT will play a pivotal role in shaping architecture strategy, optimizing systems, and driving technology initiatives that support scalability and future growth. This position reports directly to the COO, requires onsite presence, and involves leading a small technical team while remaining hands-on with critical projects.
• Oversee network redesign and ensure scalability for office expansion
• Drive SOC 2 compliance certification and maintain security standards
• Manage internal systems, including Salesforce and Office 365
• Implement and maintain building access/control systems
• Collaborate with the COO and leadership team to align IT initiatives with business goals
• Lead and mentor 1–2 technical team members
• Ensure operational continuity and troubleshoot complex technical issues

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as an IT leader with network infrastructure expertise
• Ability to redesign and scale networks
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance and in-house network security
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce and integration with internal systems
• Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCNA) and background as a Sr. Tech or Manager
• Experience managing building access/control systems
• Leadership skills to manage 1–2 technical resources
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in compliance audits and certification processes
• Exposure to physical security systems and office expansion projects
• Ability to align IT strategy with business operations and executive leadership
• Experience with vendor management and budgeting for infrastructure upgrades
