Director, Software Engineering

Overview
We are seeking a Director of Self-Service Solutions to lead the integrated systems workstream and oversee the successful delivery of complex software engineering initiatives. This role will focus on modernizing legacy applications, driving cloud migration, and ensuring architectural excellence across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership for self-service solution initiatives, including integrated systems and web applications.
• Oversee migration from on-premise to cloud environments (AWS).
• Ensure alignment of architecture and engineering practices with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Monitor project progress, provide executive updates, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Foster innovation and best practices in software architecture and engineering.

PR: $85-$90/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• Technical Expertise:
o Strong software engineering background (microservices, RESTful APIs, AWS).
o Experience with MySQL (versions 5 & 8), Amdocs, and cloud migration strategies.
o Proficiency in multiple programming languages: JavaScript, React, PHP, Node.js.
• Leadership:
o Proven ability to lead architecture and engineering teams.
o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional:
o Experience with web portals and web applications.
o Familiarity with legacy application modernization.
