Job Description

This role will be responsible for proactively identifying, investigating, and mitigating insider threats that pose risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise assets. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in insider threat hunting, behavioral analytics, and investigative techniques. You will collaborate across IT, HR, Legal, and Security teams to drive threat detection, response, and program maturity.

Required Skills & Experience

exfiltration attempts, and misuse of access privileges using UEBA, SIEM, and other telemetry sources.
• Behavioral Analytics: Analyze user and entity behavior to detect patterns indicative of insider threat activity. Develop hypotheses and hunt strategies based on emerging threat trends.
• Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into suspected insider threat incidents, including digital forensics, log analysis, and contextual interviews.
• Incident Response: Coordinate and execute insider threat incident response actions, ensuring timely containment, remediation, and documentation.
• Evidence Management: Collect, preserve, and manage digital and physical evidence in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Reporting & Documentation: Produce detailed investigative reports, risk assessments, and executive summaries with actionable recommendations.
• Program Development: Support the evolution of the Insider Threat Management Program by identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and implementing best practices.
• Training & Awareness: Contribute to awareness campaigns and training initiatives to educate stakeholders on insider threat risks and prevention strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and HR policies during investigations and response efforts.
