seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and direct all production and support functions across our manufacturing campus. This role is responsible for driving performance in Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Budgetary goals through strategic leadership and operational excellence. The successful candidate will oversee departments including EH&S/Maintenance, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, and Materials Management, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. This position reports to the Managing Director, TPM.
What you will be doing
Production Management:
• Lead all Environmental Health & Safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Promote a proactive safety culture using 5S and behavior-based safety programs.
• Oversee application of TPM’s quality systems to meet internal and external defect targets. Ensure compliance with FDA CFR 21 and ISO13485 standards.
• Lead engineering support for existing products and new process development. Oversee capital equipment justification and implementation. Partner with Design Engineering for product updates and new product launches.
• Accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality Delivery and Costs metrics. and generate manufacturing/procurement monthly scorecard information for management review.
• Implement automation and technology-driven solutions where applicable.
Supply Chain Management:
• Working with the Supply Chain Manager and Supplier Quality, strategically plans and develops comprehensive strategies for sourcing key materials, while appropriately considering future supply challenges and contingencies. This is accomplished through supplier development, quality improvement and cost reduction, supplier lead-time reduction, insourcing, make vs buy administration.
• Leverage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
• Implement demand planning and forecasting strategies.
• Optimize inventory levels to reduce waste and ensure product availability.
Team Leadership:
• As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, finance, design engineering, and quality assurance.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence in all areas of the business.
• Lead change management initiatives supporting production operations by developing and executing strategies to drive adoption, growth and process discipline.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain, Engineering, or technical field of study; MBA preferred.
10-15 years of experience (or equivalent) in operations, engineering or supply chain, in a highly regulated manufacturing setting with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Lean environment experience is REQUIRED
Proven track record in strategic agility, ability to inspire, lead and delegate a diverse workforce.
A solid understanding of general manufacturing and materials management with a proven track record of successful negotiations and cost reduction activities.
Must understand osha standards in facility OSHA REQUIREMENTS
