Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and experience across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS). This role will support a large-scale, vendor-developed project by reviewing proposed cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and providing technical guidance and approvals. The role involves leading the architecture and design of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily within Azure. It requires evaluating and reviewing vendor-proposed cloud solutions to ensure they meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards. The position provides technical oversight and approval for key infrastructure components such as virtual machines, containerized workloads (e.g., Kubernetes and Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendor teams is essential to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into the existing enterprise architecture. Additionally, the role includes defining and enforcing cloud governance, implementing security best practices, optimizing costs, supporting cloud migration efforts through workload assessment and execution, and staying current with emerging cloud technologies to recommend adoption where appropriate.

-Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
-Working knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
-Expertise in cloud workload design, VM provisioning, container orchestration, and IaC.
-Experience reviewing and validating third-party/vendor solutions.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
-Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
-Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, healthcare, or finance
