Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineer for our Edge and Observability team. This role focuses on building and optimizing edge computing solutions and observability frameworks to ensure high performance, reliability, and visibility across distributed systems. The engineer will work on edge caching strategies, real-user monitoring (RUM), and observability tooling, leveraging technologies like Fastly, Dynatrace, and modern programming languages.
Pay rate range: 50-56/hour

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience
• Edge Technologies: Fastly, VCL, WAF, Edge Compute
• Observability Tools: Dynatrace, RUM
• Programming Languages: TypeScript, Node.js (experience with backend and edge scripting)
• Networking Concepts: CDN architecture, private network connectivity, latency optimization
• Performance Testing: Tools and methodologies for benchmarking edge performance
• Cloud & CI/CD: Familiarity with AWS regions, deployment pipelines, and automation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
- Background in high-scale distributed systems or cloud-native architectures.
