Job Description
A client in the defense industry is looking to add a Calibration Technician to their team in Palm Bay, FL. They will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of electrical measuring and test equipment. The technicians will test, calibrate, and adjust a wide range of inspection and measurement tools. They will be setting up the calibration sequences, procedures, and calibrating work under measurement standards. They will be working fully onsite Monday - Friday from 8 -5 PM with a 9/80 work schedule.

Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma
- 4-8 years of experience calibrating, measuring, and troubleshooting the following areas: AC/DC, Frequency Counters, Power Sensors, RF Power, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, PXI, PXIe, SCXI, Torque, Pressure, Temperature, Lab Master, Force, Fiber Optics, National Instruments Calibration Executive, HP Vee, SureCal, Fluke Runtime, MetTeam, Counters Oscilloscopes, DAQ, Generators, Microwave, Avionics, Dimensional, HP Basic
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong understanding of metrology practices Knowledge of calibration standards such as ANSI/NCSL Z540
Prior military experience
