Creative Designer

Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a talented and trend-savvy Creative Designer for a 3–6-month contract opportunity with the potential of going permanently. This team is focused on developing innovative product and packaging designs within the arts & crafts category. In this role, you’ll help shape the visual identity of multiple product lines, bringing fresh ideas to life across packaging, product concepts, and marketing materials. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure designs align with brand standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct trend research and contribute to ideation sessions for new product development.
• Design packaging and product visuals, including color palettes, patterns, and presentation mockups.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, and fellow creatives to align on project goals.
• Prepare production-ready files for packaging and print.
• Communicate design specs and packaging requirements to sourcing and production teams.
• Assist with product photography, image editing, and occasional copywriting.
• Support social media content creation with design input as needed.

• 2+ years of graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating use of color, composition, and typography.
o Style is bright fun and trendy
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Mac environment).
• Highly creative with the ability to generate original products and packaging ideas.
• Ability to commute to Carrollton, TX office 2-3 days a week or as needed for additional project work.

Character profile:
• Excellent time management skills; able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting concepts and collaborating across teams.
• Openness to feedback and a strong desire to grow with the company.

• Familiarity with packaging design, dyelines, or production art.
• Experience with children’s crafts or toy product design.
• Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom.
