Confidential - Chief Technical Officer

Insight Global is seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for one of our start-ups, a digital content studio client of ours. This role will be on site five days per week located in Miami, FL. As Chief Technical Officer, you will be the driving force behind our client’s technological innovation and infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of immersive entertainment by leading the development of proprietary tools and platforms that redefine how stories are told and experienced.
You will architect and oversee the implementation of our client’s core technology stack, including AI-powered post-production tools, real-time rendering engines, and interactive media systems. Your leadership will directly influence the studio’s ability to deliver groundbreaking content across experimental film, animation, gaming, fashion, and virtual worlds. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to align technical capabilities with artistic vision, ensuring seamless integration of technology into the creative pipeline. This includes building scalable systems for virtual production, developing custom software for post-cinema workflows, and exploring emerging technologies like generative AI, spatial computing, and blockchain-enabled digital assets.
This role is ideal for a technologist with a passion for art, storytelling, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
• Technology Leadership: Define and execute our client’s technical vision across AI, CGI, gaming engines, and immersive media.
• Product Development: Oversee the architecture and development of proprietary entertainment software and post-cinema tools.
• Innovation Strategy: Drive R&D initiatives in real-time rendering, virtual production, and interactive storytelling.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team including AI researchers, software developers, and technical artists.
• Collaboration: Partner with creative leads, producers, and external collaborators
• Security & Infrastructure: Ensure robust, scalable, and secure systems for content creation and distribution.

- Proven experience as a CTO or Senior Technical Lead in media, gaming or creative tech industries.
- Expertise in real-time graphics (Unreal/Unity).
- Strong understanding of creative pipelines in animation, VFX and interactive media.
- Track record building and scaling technical teams and platforms
- Passion for experimental art, gaming and digital culture

- Experience in startup environments
