Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Administrative Assistant in Miami, FL for one of our customers that will be supporting a Greek Orthodox Church with the following responsibilities:
Note - this is a 30 hour work week (M-F 9:30am-3:30pm)
•Screens phone calls and visitors for the priest and ministries
•Receives calls for the priest and church ministries and ensures they are addressed to completion
•Maintains and updates the Master Online Calendar daily
•Arranges and confirms appointment
•Maintains the Priest’s Daily Schedule. Upon final approval from the Parish Priest ensures all are aware of the schedule and posted as appropriate to the Master Online Calendar daily
•Administers all sacrament/church activities Baptism, Chrismation, Marriage, Divorce, Funerals, Memorials to include: Scheduling, Metropolis, Civil and all other related documentation from start to completion including logging into the Church log books
•Maintains and updates the church website and facilities bookings on a daily basis (with assistance from the Webmaster(s)
•Administers the church equipment borrowing and ensure all are returned to the church office in working condition
•Creates the Weekly Sunday Bulletin. Prints the bulletin and delivers to the Church, posts on the Website, and sends an e-mail to the Parish Distribution list on Friday
•Administers the monthly Stewardship list for inclusion in the Monthly “Vine” Newsletter
•Records and maintains Stewardship update data in the church management software
•Administers the quarterly Stewardship accounting and mailings
•Processes bills, receipts, expenses, and reimbursement requests for the treasurer
•Records all cash receipts and weekly deposits – manages the Petty Cash and provides reconciliation for the Treasurer
•Enters and maintains all parishioner and other contact and membership lists in the church management software with inputs from the Welcome Greeters and other communications
•Generates reports as required by the Parish Priest, Parish Council from the church management software

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years administrative experience
QuickBooks experience preferred (Cut and deposit checks, manage expenses, etc)
Basic Excel experience
Proficiency in MS office, Outlook, word, etc.
Strong attention to detail
Answer phones with excellent customer service skills; patience and compassion for people
Bilingual
