Job Description

Day to Day:
• Engage with internal and external customers to manage technical communications and order changes.
• Create and manage NPD project schedules (Gantt charts), resources, milestones, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate and process Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN).
• Lead risk management activities including mitigation planning.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and serve as the principal contact for design engineering.
• Ensure compliance with test and quality standards; review contract specs and document exchanges.
• Support department metrics and process development.
• Provide limited design engineering support (technical papers, calculations, models/drawings).
• Act as technical lead on NPD projects, working closely with design engineers and senior leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred; relevant experience may substitute. Coursework in valves, regulators, or fluid control is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Certifications: PMP preferred; PMBOK knowledge required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proactive with leadership.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused under pressure.
• Skilled in project engineering and cross-functional team leadership.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design engineering best practices.
• Technical writing (procedures, results).
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Access).
• Experience with Integrated Project Teams and valve design is a plus.
