Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a SCADA Engineer to join their team for a power generation client's solar group. This SCADA Engineer will be responsible for design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems for solar power generation. Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, ASCII, ICCP, and Ethernet/IP. Build and configure HMIs using Ignition HMI by Inductive Automation. Program PLCs using function blocks, PID, ladder logic, structured text, and VFDs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems. Perform system testing, validation, and optimization and Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.


$30-$40/HR

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of experience creating HMIs in any industry
Minimum of 1 year of experience with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, ASCII, ICCP, Ethernet/IP).
Experience in building HMIs preferably using Ignition HMI by Inductive Automation.
Proficiency in PLC programming (function blocks, PID, ladder logic, structured text, VFDs).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience creating HMIs and Codes for Power Generation companies
