Day to Day:
The Sr Pricing Manager is responsible for planning and executing the ACA/ABP pricing and filing processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role involves handling pricing and underwriting for large group business, including prospect pricing, renewals, RFPs/ITNs, and FEP rate submissions. The manager will develop reports and insights on commercial business performance to support tactical and strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role includes managing monthly close deliverables such as IBNR, membership, revenue reporting, and risk adjustment accruals. The manager will also develop membership, revenue, and cost projections for the annual budget for commercial lines and optimize risk adjustment revenue through data submission, validation, chase list development, monitoring, and analysis. Leading a high-performing team of actuarial analysts, the manager will support organizational goals and priorities in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving issues within the Commercial Actuarial team.
Salary for this role ranges from 140-150k depending on experience.
