Insight Global is looking for a Safety and Reliability Engineer. This person will responsible for reviewing designs and safety documentation for an Integrated Modular Avionics system. The goal of this work is to confirm all failures are recognized during flights (not just when the plane is on the ground). You will review safety documentations, help decide if failures are flagged using Fault Tree Analysis and if necessary propose Hardware or Software design changes.

- Process Knowledge of Avionics Hardware Development (DO-254, DO-160), Avionics SW (DO-178) and Systems (ARP4754)
Experience working with DAL A Systems
Experience with Avionics Safety Process ARP4761
Experience with Reliability process and Built In Tests (PBIT, CBIT. IBIT), Fault Tree Analysis (looking for failure equations)
Ability to review and analyze electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Integrated Modular Avionics experience preferred
