The Systems Engineer III (Desktop Environment) is a senior-level technical expert with advanced experience in Windows 11 deployments across enterprise environments using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune. This role ensures seamless integration, security, and performance across a diverse user base by troubleshooting, developing, and maintaining secure and efficient endpoint configurations, and implementing robust patch management and compliance frameworks. The engineer brings expertise in software packaging and deployment for licensed software in VMware Horizon VDI environments, SCCM, JAMF, and optionally AppsAnywhere virtual application software. Responsibilities also include responding to end-user support tickets and participating in assigned IT projects as needed. This position collaborates across IT teams to drive innovation, mentor junior staff, and continuously improve desktop engineering practices through expert-level problem solving and automation.
Pay will vary depending on experience - $45-60/hour

Advanced knowledge of Windows 11 deployment strategies and endpoint lifecycle management.
Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM and Intune for enterprise software deployment, patching, and compliance.
Strong skills in application packaging, scripting, and automation for desktop environments.
Experience troubleshooting complex endpoint issues and implementing secure, scalable configurations.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware Horizon.
Proficiency in Azure
Ability to respond effectively to end-user support tickets and contribute to IT projects.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
