Job Description
Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Sr Data Center Operator. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level data center environments, with a strong focus on system monitoring, disaster recovery, and server administration.
• Utilize Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and network monitoring software to ensure optimal performance and uptime of data center operations.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions, including disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
• Provide comprehensive support for Windows and Linux server operating systems, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot servers using lights-out management interfaces such as HP iLO and Dell iDRAC for remote, headless operations.
• Respond to and resolve daily support requests through ServiceNow, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Leverage Nlyte Inventory for asset management and infrastructure planning within the data center environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Center Operator managing daily operations and monitoring of systems and mainframes (Unisys)
• Strong experience within Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and network monitoring software to ensure optimal performance and uptime of data center operations
• Strong experience Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions, including disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies
• Experience providing support for Windows and Linux server operating systems, ensuring system stability, security, and performance
• Experience managing and troubleshooting servers using lights-out management interfaces such as HP iLO and Dell iDRAC for remote, headless operations
• Experience resolving daily support requests through ServiceNow, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely issue resolution
• Experience leveraging Nlyte Inventory for asset management and infrastructure planning within the data center environment.
