Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data and automated testing scripts
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create and maintain test automation using test automation tools; experience with WebDriverIO, Cucumber, and Gherkin preferred
Execute manual and automated tests to identify and report defects
Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both the frontend and backend of software systems
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug defects
Participate in peer reviews of test cases and defects

Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or related fields, or equivalent professional work experience
4+ years of experience with automation testing leveraging Javascript, preferably with WebDriverIO, Cucumber, and Gherkin preferred
2+ years of experience with automated application testing in a professional enterprise setting
Experience maintaining a suite of test artifacts and scripts in a well organized repository/catalog
Proficiency in planning for test automation as part of ongoing test activities
Experience as part of an Agile team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical/problem solving skills ability to find bugs/defects quickly
Experience with automated and manual testing for large scale commercial applications with knowledge of retail or back-office concepts
Strong understanding of interfacing technologies and concepts, such as APIs, databases, and logging software
Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, or other testing tools
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
