Job Description

This position is responsible for valuation, scheduling, analysis, and logistics optimization of wind turbine Major Component (large correctives) work in the wind fleet. Under limited guidance, the successful candidate will manage and stay organized on day-to-day logistics coordination, strategy analysis, and job scheduling. This position also requires development of new analytics, algorithms, and solutions to continually improve effectiveness of our maintenance execution strategy.

Analyze potential work execution strategies to select schedule and resources with lowest cost
Demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgement in analyzing, planning, and organizing work execution strategies
Manage the schedule and resource assignments for internal execution crews and tooling resources
Maintain day-to-day awareness of job status, delays, and changes to adjust work execution plans
Coordinate logistics with planning/sourcing groups and field execution leaders
Lead daily work status and coordination meetings
Lead and support initiatives to develop new analytical tools, processes, and software platforms
Analyze maintenance execution performance and process data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent
2+ years related experience
Expertise with business and data analytics
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Proficiency with IBM Maximo, Power BI, relational databases, and programming
Experience with wind turbine major component replacements
Experience with logistics optimization
