Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible helping implement workday Human Capital Management (HCM) modules across an organization. You will work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support the implementation and configuration of Workday HCM modules (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking).
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Configure business processes, condition rules, and security roles within Workday.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
Conduct user training and support change management efforts.
Stay current with Workday updates and new features, and recommend improvements.

Pay Rate: $40-60/hr depending on experience

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant or similar role.
Hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle Workday HCM implementation.
Strong understanding of Workday business processes and configuration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Workday certification(s) in HCM is strongly preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Workday reporting tools (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields).
Familiarity with Workday security configuration.
Knowledge of HR operations and best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
