Job Description

Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Intermediate Technical Service Delivery Manager for Managed Service Providers. This person will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the MSP within their designated area, ensuring the vendor meets service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations. This role involves managing the vendor throughout the entire operational lifecycle, including user support, platform updates, monitoring, stability, and optimization. This person will act as the primary escalation point for the vendor and collaborates with the MSP, other TSDMs, and leadership to ensure high-quality support and continuous improvement. This person will ensure consistent, reliable service delivery, and build trust contributing to the teams success.

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience as a Tech Service Delivery Manager within Data Storage and Protection for MSPs
Experience with Red Hat Linux, including version management, security protocols, patching, and upgrades, or similar technologies
Experience with Enterprise Storage solutions like Dell Powermax and PowerScale, or equivalent technologies
Experience of Enterprise data protection tools such as Veritas NetBackup, or similar technologies
Experience managing extensive infrastructure environments, including servers, hypervisors, storage, and backup from a managed services perspective
Skills in technical problem management and escalation procedures
Experienced background in Operation Support and/or Service Delivery
Experience working with vendors to support operations and meet SLAs
Experienced collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives and drive results
Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) and project management practices
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
MUST HAVE BE STRONG COMMUNICATOR with great personality (exciting, engaging, not shy) able to communicate clearly across leaders and executives hold people accountable to drive projects forward

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications:
o Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI
o Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Masters Degree relevant field
