Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced COMMERCIAL Journeyman Electrician in Homestead, FL. Primary function of this role is inspection, and overseeing the commercial/industrial electrical work. This person will be initially supporting a large Electrical Bus/charging facility project with the county. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large electrical projects and high voltage commercial electrical work. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, such as 600 volt breakers, transformers,switches,chargers, etc. all at the commercial/Industrial level
Test electrical equipment in large commercial and industrial settings, including high voltage systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project specifications.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work and ensure timely project completion.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as Journeyman electrician (Commercial)
Experience with large-scale electrical projects and high voltage commercial work.
Experience testing commercial/industrial electrical systems and equipment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
