A Water Treatment System (RO) is being constructed to facilitate the cleanup of the Hines Cooling Pond. The Project Transition Team is being established to develop liaison between the construction project and Station equipment/leadership to assure configuration control, integration of equipment, and processes and procedures are performed to Station standards. As part of the responsibility, inventory and inventory control will be required in the early stages of procurement, and construction quality inspections will be required during the construction phases. As the project moves from construction into commissioning and startup, tasks will transition from inventory control to operational duties of the constructed water treatment system. The Project Transition Team will report to an already established Project Transition Team Lead.
Project Job Description:
Individual shall be willing to provide inventory control during the procurement and construction stages of the project.
Individual shall be willing to transition from inventory and inventory control to operational duties of a water treatment system during the later stages of construction and beginning of commissioning.
Must be able to perform an Equipment Database (EDB) verification, which will entail complete verification (P&IDs, nameplate data, component tags, DCS screens, system walk-down, Tagspro, and Maximo) and EDB update.
Individual will be required to perform, at least, 2 observations (Contractor Safety or Environmental) each week until the Equipment Database (EDB) verification and commissioning stages of the project.
Overtime will only be allowed as required and with permission. All work must be completed during our 40-hour work week. During the commissioning process, some overtime may be required. We will have further discussions when we reach the commissioning stage of the project.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4/10s
Report daily to construction trailer at 0700 to discuss the plan of the day.
Timeline for Project Responsibilities:
First 6-8 months (2nd - 4th quarter 2025) Inventory Control of incoming equipment and equipment to be distributed to construction team. Opportunity to learn the equipment prior to construction and installation and to gain understanding of future operation.
Next 6-8 months (1st quarter - 3rd quarter 2026) Inventory Control of equipment and beginning of commissioning duties (to include drawing verification, system walkdowns, procedure development, and configuration management). Apply the knowledge learned during inventory to assist with expected system general arrangement, process flow, and component interactions with other systems.
Final 6 months (3rd and 4th quarter 2026) All duties transition to commissioning, startup and operation of the newly constructed Water Treatment System.

5 years applicable experience as a water treatment operator specifically Reverse Osmosis (RO)
o Monitoring and controlling the operation of a water treatment plant
o Ensuring that the produced water meets safety standard
o Operation of water treatment equipment
o Performing chemistry analysis of water samples
o Handling chemicals
o Maintaining records
Valid Drivers License
