Our Client is looking for an experienced Mobile Device Administrator to join their growing team. This individual will provide overall management and system administration of the Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment focused specifically on Android devices. They will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for MDM administration and management (AirWatch) to include end user/device enrollments and deletions, ensuring mobile implementations are in line with privacy, legal, security policies, and corporate standards, testing and evaluation of mobile devices against Enterprise MDM Systems.
- Work closely with the Business with mobile device requirements, engineering appropriate solutions, performing piloting, implementations, and providing post release support.
- Work on projects pertaining to applications and/or products impacting Ryder's desktop, laptop, and mobile device configurations. Responsible for mobile device configurations via MDM.
- Mobile device testing, end user troubleshooting, and providing 3rd level technical support to various IT and Business Teams
- Develop and create documentation that includes conceptual descriptions, task-based procedures, configurations, installations, and reference information.

- 3+ years experience administrating, provisioning, and deploying mobile devices and solutions with a MDM solution Specific experience with Workspace ONE by VMware AirWatch
- Technical Skills expected within AirWatch: Can do configuration and support of the product, understands how to wipe a device, ability to test new features, understand how to do change controls, administer the product, create packages, etc.
- Experience monitoring overall stability of the mobile device environment, watching over the packages, Strong understanding of APKs in an Android etc.
- Experience with the technical management of BYOD/Corporate owned mobile devices and technologies, specially Android in an enterprise setting
- Intermediate experience leveraging end point management tools such as SCCM and/or Ivantiand Windows administration via Active Directory Group Policy.
- Advanced experience with multi-site, large environment application package deployments (currently has 12-14k Android devices in their environment)
- In-depth experience with quality assurance testing methodologies and practices with Android devices
- Strong oral and written communications skills, Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of project, software development and systems management methodologies, Strong process documentation
- Experience with additional MDM tools such as Soti, Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS)/Intune, and/or IBM MaaS360)
- Experience troubleshooting iOS Devices (Most of Ryders environment is Android but they have some iOS)
- Experience working in an Agile environment, 2-week Sprints, Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Ability to write a raw XML file
- Bachelors degree, advanced education or relevant certifications
- Experience working in the logistics or transportation domain
