Job Description

Coordinates and plans projects, programs, and incentives under the Citys redevelopment plans
Manages solicitations, policies, and guidelines for housing, infrastructure, and commercial development incentive programs
Analyzes development proposals for feasibility and alignment with City goals
Reviews financial feasibility of projects, including proformas, budgets, and other financial data
Provides underwriting support for programs like the CRAs Affordable Housing Gap Financing Program
Assists in property acquisition and entitlements, including due diligence and feasibility analysis
Oversees all development phases: planning, design, permitting, construction, contract development, and compliance monitoring
Monitors best practices and strategizes affordable housing development through various programs and financing options

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economic Development, or closely related field
3+ years of banking, financial analysis, underwriting experience
- Or 7+ years of education, training, and work experience equal to or higher than above
Knowledge of financial analysis and basic underwriting principles related to rental, multifamily and commercial development projects
Project management, planning, executing and monitoring land development projects from start to finish
