REMOTE Senior Application Developer (Front End)

We are looking for a lead Application Developer who will be responsible for guiding design, architectural, and development decisions on our data ingestion platform, known as Zenith. Zenith is an internal application that is currently being used in the US, UK, Australia, and China, and there is potential that the application will roll out to additional offices in the future. Zenith is an Angular/C# front end and a Microsoft SQL server backend and the main purpose is to ingest and standardize raw client data that may come to us as flat files, delimited files, Excel, Access, or other formats. It is a data-heavy application with minimal concurrent users on the front-end and most of the processes leveraging dynamic SQL statements generated through mapping, validation, and transformation setups within the UI by the business users. To be successful in this role the candidate must have a solid C#, Angular, and SQL foundation and should have had lead responsibilities in at least one other role in the past. This is a hands-on position with day-to-day development responsibilities in C#/Angular the SQL development is limited to support the front/back-end management of workflows and does not include the dynamic SQL generation that handles data movements

- Strong knowledge of Angular 13 or above
- Strong knowledge of C#
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Experience working with certain equipment or systems, and skill proficiency levels that are required for job eligibility.
- Eight or more years of application development/systems analysis experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Advanced data analysis knowledge and abilities
- Ability to keep current with software development tools and processes
- Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude and work well with other people
- Ability to analyze processing problems and procedures and attention to detail
- Ability to design software and processes - Knowledge of n-tier distributed architecture/programming
- Ability to document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Ability to provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

- Two or more years of experience in the insurance industry
- Microsoft Certification(s)
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure
- Docker
