Job Description

My Michigan client has a large Hospital Maintenance project that goes into Gainesville/Jacksonville FL. This Service Security Installer will be joining the Service team in supporting Preventative maintenance checks. This could be on door badges, access readers, etc. in the hospitals. Majority of day to day will be within the Minneapolis area, with once a month travel to one of the locations listed. Client provides a company vehicle and per diem for travel.

Required Skills & Experience

Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude:
o Has worked with hardware/software troubleshooting
o works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings
o understands relays, inputs, AC vs DC, how to size a power supply and cable
o solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.)
Low Voltage Installation experience
CCTV, Camera, and Access Control installation experience
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Understanding of IT networking principles - A+ cert is a HUGE PLUS!
Comfortable with some overnight travel up to once a month
