A client of Insight Global is looking for a designer with the focus on public infrastructure and utilities to join their team in Pensacola, FL. This candidate will approximately 10 years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in using Civil3Ds automated plan production tools, including alignments and profiles, corridors and cross sections, gravity and pressure pipe networks, and parts catalogs.
The key responsibilities are:
Design and develop public infrastructure projects, particularly water/sewer pipeline and facility projects.
Utilize Civil3D for automated plan production, including alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross sections.
Create designs from concepts or guidance without relying on redlines.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure project goals are met.

Strong experience with water/sewer pipeline and facility projects.
Ability to create designs from scratch based on concepts or guidance.
Experience with public infrastructure projects is essential; experience with private developments and subdivisions or solely roadway design is not suitable.
