A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a GRC Analyst to assist in managing a high volume of vendor risk assessments, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the implementation of security by design principles in various projects and gather and manage artifacts related to security and compliance. You will adapt to the companys risk assessment methodologies for technology and services, focusing on practical risk management rather than strict adherence to specific frameworks. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security configuration standards are met, utilize OneTrust to configure workflows and manage security configurations, and assist in the management of operating systems and endpoint security. The pay range for this opportunity ranges from $30-40/hr depending on experience.

1-2 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) roles.
3-4 years of progressive IT/Cyber security experience
Background in IT administration, with a transition to security and risk management.
Understanding of various security frameworks and the ability to assess and right-size risks based on practical considerations.
Experience with OneTrust for workflow configuration and security management.
Familiarity with security configuration standards and endpoint management.
Familiar with security risk assessment methodologies, vulnerability management, and threat modeling.
Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
Knowledge of IP networking concepts, major operating systems, and cloud computing environments.
General working understanding of web application and network technologies, programming languages, databases, Linux, Unix, Mac OSX, and Windows operating systems.
Functional understanding and knowledge of security principles, standards, and processes, such as authentication and access control, secure configuration, network traffic analysis, endpoint security, platform architecture, application security, encryption and key management, cloud security, etc.
Experience with GRC/ERM tools.
Experience in following projects and implementing security by design.
Knowledge of industry guidelines and best practices for risk assessment.
Ability to adapt to evolving risk assessment methodologies
