Job Description

**Salary:70k**

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of bills and invoices for various Billing Attorneys. This is a very high volume/fast pace environment so it is important that this individual is coming from a similar environment. This role involves generating accurate invoices, managing accounts receivable, resolving billing disputes, and ensuring the timely collection of payments. They will be responsible for the full billing lifecycle so must be proficient/experienced in each step. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of billing systems, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure seamless financial operations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years as a billing specialist or equivalent position
- 3+ years of experience using a legal billing software: Aderant or Alite preferred
- Experience working for a law firm
- Experience running full billing lifecycle at high volume
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Collections experience
- Bachelor's Degree
