Job Description

Our client is looking for a Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program Manager to join the IT organization! The Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's comprehensive BCP/DR program from start to finish. This role will involve conducting risk assessments, creating Business Impact Analyses, and developing and testing BCP/DR plans for all critical business functions. Additionally, the Program Manager will oversee the training of employees, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead the organization's response to disasters and emergencies. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $60-75/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in business continuity and IT disaster recovery
Strong technical acumen and high level of IT understanding
Proven success developing and managing BCP/DR plans from scratch with an excellent understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles
Experience conducting risk assessments and annual Disaster Recovery testing
Experience training employees on BCP/DR procedures
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisor position
Excellent communication with previous experience presenting to senior leadership/executives
Strong project management skills
At least ONE certification in BCP/DR (ex: CBCP, CISSP, MBCP, ABCP, CRISC, ITIL, etc.)
