The Pricing Analyst is responsible for improving and maintaining a database of ad hoc shipment quotes. This role also involves working on a tool to assist the sales team by providing intelligent quoting inputs. The incumbent will manage the tool, deliver regular spot rate reports to management, and approve ad hoc shipment quote requests using existing pricing tool.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Management: improve and maintain the database for ad hoc shipment quotes using data from existing systems
Generate detailed reports that provide input into Microsoft Power BI, including the number of quotes created, approved, and implemented at the sales representative level, with roll-ups to area and country levels
Tool Improvement : improve and manage the ad hoc shipment quoting tool in Excel or Access that adheres to global policies. This tool guide sales in pricing each shipment and interfaces directly with billing systems
Quote Approval: Review and manage ad hoc spot rate requests from the sales team via the global tool. Approve or reject requests in alignment with global policies
Reporting: Provide regular reports to management regarding ad hoc shipment rates and related trends. Pay ranging anywhere from $29-37/hr based on experience

Any previous experience with ACCESS would be a huge plus! (but not required)
Previous experience working for a company in the logistics/supply chain realm (ie: FedEx, UPS, Amazon, Travel industry, cruise line industry, rental car industry, etc.)
Any prior experience working side by side with a Sales Team
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese
Experience with Workflow
