Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to join their team. This individual will be part of the organization's Supply Chain Management Data team. Responsibilities include taking data from 3 previous systems and migrating into one, using SQL to write queries, extract, and put data into new format, work with multiple data sets, and come from a data analytics background. 70% of time will be spent doing technical hands-on work while 30% will be spent in team meetings. The hiring manager requires that this individual go onsite 4 days a week in Orlando, FL

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years experience as a data engineer
- 2+ years experience in supply chain domains
- Experience with either: Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
- Strong experience working within SQL writing queries
- Experience working with data sets in Azure or AWS
- Experience migrating data from one database to another

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working in Blue Yonder's databases
- Specific grocery store and/or restaurant supply chain domains
