Job Description

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of environmental groundwater and soil sample collection, remediation system operation and maintenance, coordinating with contractors, state and local agencies and laboratories.

Communicate with a project team, direct subcontractors in the field, and understand written plans / procedures.
Compose short field reports documenting site conditions and site activities in accordance with FDEP and EPA requirements.
Understand and implement a Health and Safety Plan.

Required Skills & Experience

Two (2) Years experience as an environmental field specialist/scientist
2 year Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Familiar with FDEP groundwater and soil sampling SOPs, and field documentation procedures
Familiar with field analytical equipment and collection / preservation of soil and groundwater samples.
Strong record keeping / documentation skills.
Microsoft Excel and Word, strong PC and Email knowledge a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
First Aid and CPR training a plus.
OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER and e-rail safe training.
Good basic mechanical skills.
