Job Description

- Oversee 3 Pensacola Community Center after-school programs which include programs dealing with children with specialized needs
- Plan, organize, implement, coordinate, and control services of the Parks and Recreation Community Center After School/Summer Education Resource Programs
- Create program budgets, program policies and procedures, and educational curriculum suitable for classroom ages K-5
- Collect and report data required for grant maintenance
- Facilitate, plan, collaborate, and coordinate children's educational programs and activities
- Work with the grants management office on reporting and compliance of all grant awards
- Maintain accurate records on children enrolled in the program to include their development, attendance, immunizations, and general health
- Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the developmental progress of children enrolled in the program
- Manage purchases and inventory
- Prepares administrative reports

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience with implementation of children and/or youth programs
- CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months of employment
- Valid drivers license
- Completion of minimum of 8 hours of special needs training (available after onboarding)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in recreation, education, parks administration, hospitality, or related field
