Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to help with a Windows 11 refresh. This candidate will be hands-on with hardware troubleshooting, talking with end users, responding to ticketing system, and documenting tickets. This position will oversee end users and performing PC, Laptop, and software refreshes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a "hands on" environment doing software and hardware installations, configuring Windows PC equipment, and providing level 2 and 3 troubleshooting. They will be responsible for deployment and disposal by tracking inventory and assets, installing, and configuring systems. The candidate is expected to refresh 200 machines a week, with about 14 machines a day per technician, and a total of 2,000 new windows 11 workstations completed by December. As there is some customer service, strong communication skills are essential to the role.
