Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Maintenance Technician at an accredited university in the Jacksonville area. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to HVAC systems and general maintenance associated with housing and residence life. In this role, you will spend most of your time working with fan coil units (air handler units), including changing heat relays, replacing fan coil valves, troubleshooting capacitors and blown fuses, and operating HVAC chillers as necessary. The remainder of your time will be spent completing general maintenance throughout the housing areas, such as drywall and painting, carpentry, and plumbing. This role will require customer interaction on a daily basis. The pay rate is $16-18.67/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Over 1 year of HVAC experience, specifically with fan coil units
Experience in plumbing, drywall, and carpentry
Knowledge of operating HVAC chillers
Ability to interact consistently and positively with customers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous HVAC experience at a university or hospital
