A client of Insight Global's is seeking a talented Application Architect to be a leader within the technology department. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technical, business- oriented, and passionate. This is a newer company that has been developed fully developed on a microservice architecture in Azure Cloud, but they are looking to bring their development teams inhouse/ onshore. The Application architect will need to understand and analyze their business applications, in order to design / manage complex systems that ensure security, scalability, efficiency, and provide seamless user experiences across multiple platforms. They will work with a team of two Java Developers, a DevOps Engineer, a Database Engineer, and will also work with the business owners and stakeholders. In the beginning, this role will be about 50% development and 50% architecture.
