Insight Global is recruiting for a Scientist for their client's Supply Chain organization. This resource will utilize HPLC (High-performance liquid chromatography), GC, and other analytical techniques to help characterize and qualify Surgical Vision products. They will be ensuring successful delivery of products to the marketplace by supporting regulatory submissions through analytical experimentation and technical documentation. This resource is supporting the team which is picking up some work from surgical vision. They will be helping to collect data, write reports and protocols, and oversee analytical responsibilities. The work primarily involves leachables testing (pharma based) and DSC testing of molded plastic components in support of qualifications and associated Regulatory submissions. A lot of the testing will be outsourced, but we need someone knowledgeable to write the protocols, interpret the data, write the reports, and pull all of the raw data together. pay for this role ranges from 30 to 55 based on experience.

* Bachelor's degree in Analytical, Synthetic, Organic, Medicinal chemistry or related chemistry degree
* Hands on Chromatography experience
* Highly analytical background, with experience writing reports/protocols
* 2+ years of experience applying the principles and practices of analytical chemistry
* 2 + years experience developing and validating HPLCs and GCs
