Job Description

As an M&A Integration Consultant, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of mergers and acquisitions within Ryder. Working closely with the Senior Manager, youll be the driving force behind establishing the Integration Management Office (IMO) for M&A activities. Heres what youll be doing:
Strategic Partnering: Youll collaborate with a Youll collaborate with the Strategy & Governance team and cross-functional technology teams to set up the M&A Integration Management Office. Beyond that, youll partner with them to build effective processes, workflows, and playbooks for future acquisitionsa critical growth strategy for Ryder.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Your expertise will span across Enterprise IT Security, infrastructure, cloud, and app development teams. Youll lead and guide M&A activities, ensuring seamless integration across technology domains.
Technical Expertise: Comfortable presenting to large groups, youll bring your M&A technical know-how to the table. Whether its due diligence, post-merger integration, or aligning technology stacks, youll be the go-to person. Ability to engage with full-stack network engineers, security engineers, application engineers, end-user support engineers, cloud engineers, project managers, and the business.
Collaboration with Corporate IMO: While focused on technology integration, youll work in tandem with Ryders corporate IMO under finance. This broader team oversees legal, procurement, finance, and other central support service workstreams
Document Findings: Ability to document and summarize findings based on cross-functional discussions, prepare presentations, capture workflow processes that will serve as artifacts for M&A Playbooks, and present findings to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
Strategy & Governance: As part of the Strategy, Governance & IMO Team, when M&As are not in motion, you will engage in strategic planning, strategic execution, and risk management activities, where you will engage with senior leadership teams to develop and implement technology strategies aligned with the companys business goals and objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of relevant IT professional experience in enterprise-level organizations
3-5+ years of dedicated technology integration work ability to work cross-functionally with technology workstreams to ensure smooth integration and value realization
3-5+ years of dedicated M&A work, specializing in technology integrations has been part of multiple M&A projects and created best practices
Strong overall project management skills drives project delivery, collaborates with cross-functional teams, leads effective status meetings, and excels in documentation
Knowledge of technical integrations, including network infrastructure, service management, product management, app delivery, and security
Ability to perform and capture business requirements, Experience working in a large fast-paced organization
Strong technical documentation skills able to review and create new technical artifacts as needed
Proficient experience with PowerPoint, Visio, Word, etc., for creating process flows and workflows
Demonstrates strong leadership skills, with a proactive, go-getter mentality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills highly relational, able to connect with a variety of different personalities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Relevant M&A certifications or Integration certifications
Industry experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics
Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM
Experience managing people in a leadership capacity
Outcome driven mindset and familiarity with OKR (Objective Key Result) framework
