The Global Logistics Manager will be overseeing a team of 4, and is responsible for inbound and outbound freight, including negotiating with vendors such as small parcel carriers (majority of volume) Fedex, UPS, and has general knowledge of Ocean freight. Will manage all Carrier relationships, performance and compliance for all freight modes utilized (Parcel, Intermodal, Ocean, LTL and FTL). Ensuring proper compliance, duties, and hazmat protocols for all international and domestic freight movements. The ideal candidate has the proven ability to manage/operate a successful global logistics team, ability to create a plan and execute, is analytical and data driven, and has transportation management experience. Must understand Transportation, not just containers and small parcel freight

5 years' experience in a Global Logistics Management role
Over 7 years overall in Global logistics/Transportation related roles
Customs compliance experience
Extensive inbound and outbound freight management experience
Proven success negotiating large shipping contracts with FedEx or UPS
Experience selecting and negotiating contracts and rates with Inbound and Outbound freight carriers and 3PLs
Data driven individual; ability to analyze logistics data and present findings/suggestions on decisions to leadership.
