Ryder is looking for a Strong RPA Developer to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for advancing the RPA footprint within Ryders Dedicated Transportation Sector. This individual will be responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of RPA processes across the enterprise. They will use industry standard RPA tools to development, test, and deploy of automated solutions in adherence with Ryder Automation COE standards. The day-to-day responsibilities include building new processes/objects and enhancing existing ones. They will be responsible for documenting technical automation design and collaborating with rest of the RPA team to move the needle forward. There is significant and growing demands across the enterprise for RPA support!
Ability to evaluate existing processes and select the optimal tool from our developer toolkit to automate tasks, whether it involves using a single tool or a combination of multiple tools such as UiPath, ADF, PowerApps, VBA, Alteryx, or other applicable tools.
Strong understanding of RPA concepts, including process automation, UI automation, data manipulation, and exception handling.
Experience in documenting technical designs and system integrations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex workflows and identify automation opportunities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications in relevant RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer) preferred but not required.
Flexibility to occasionally provide afterhours/weekend support for urgent bot failures or critical deployments.

10+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably coming from software engineer background
3-5 strong years of dedicated RPA Development experience specifically with UiPath - Must be UiPath Certified
Strong Database experience specifically with MS SQL
Experience working in Agile environment, 2-week sprints
Strong development experience with Java or C#/.Net
Low to medium knowledge - SQL
Strong communication and ability to work cross functionally within the organization
Ability to work late nights or weekends as needed (not an often occurrence)
Additional Developer tools: PowerApps, ADF, Alteryx, VBA
Experience tracking in ADO (Azure DevOps)
Azure Cloud Experience
Logistics/Supply Chain Industry Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor degree/ advanced education
