Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients in Higher Education is searching for a Hybrid Accounting Manager to join their team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis local to St. Petersburg, FL 33701.



This individual will be responsible for key Accounting & Financial duties including, but not limited to, the following: Payment Processing, Accounts Payable, Bank Account & Gift Reconciliation, Communication with Investment Firm partners, Meeting with internal stakeholders, Budget Review, Review of Cash Flow, Funding Requests, Audits & Endowments, Assist in establishing new funds, and Financial Analysis & Financial Recordkeeping.

Required Skills & Experience

Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.

Associate Degree in Accounting, business or in a related field.

At least 3 years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience, preferably with a non-profit organization.

Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Knowledge of applicable Federal & State rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Teams) and Fund Accounting / ERP software systems and applications.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

5+ years of relevant experience with a non-profit or higher education institution.

Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge OR Raiser's Edge Fund Accounting software.
