Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Epic HIM Analyst for a not-for-profit hospital in Jupiter, FL. The Analyst will support their Clinical Applications team supporting their Epic go-live initiative. They're in final stages and are to set to go-live in July. This person will be responsible for being the primary support contact for the HIM application, including the areas of Deficiency Tracking, Coding, Release of Information, and Identity management. They coordinate all issues for their application areas and must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations. This is an in-office role sitting in Jupiter, Florida and will have hybrid flexibility once the go-live has been completed.

Required Skills & Experience

-Epic HIM Release of Information, Hospital Coding or Deficiency Tracking Certifcations

-2+ years of experience as a HIM Analsyt

-Clinical background

-Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination relevant experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Prior analyst experience working with HIM systems

-Work history/knowledge of HIM workflows and procedures (e.g., chart tracking, release of information, deficiency tracking and coding)

-Familiarity with transcription and scanning workflows and vendors, and confidentiality and privacy guidelines

-Prior experience with understanding workflow within clinical departments and interacts operationally with other areas of the organization, such as ordering physicians, the billing office, and medical records

-Understanding of the integration or interfaces that will exist between Epic applications
