Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager who has specific experience within the Supply Chain and Transportation industry. This individual will be responsible for executing several small to medium size projects related to Database Partitioning, Capacity Planning, Website Rewrites, and creating GPS Aggregators. This individual will be responsible for communicating effectively across both technical and non-technical teams within the Transportation division. They will help Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. They will also be responsible for managing budgets and financials up to 2M. Lastly, they will Implement effective change management and strategize effective security measures. Anticipated Projects:
- Project related to Database partitioning
- Project related to capacity planning; this PM will be working with a vendor to build capacity planning tools for specific applications
- Project related to Website rewrites the current application has 100 websites (70 internal and 30 external). All of the external websites need to be re-written
- Project related to creating a GPS aggregator

Required Skills & Experience

- 7-10+ years of relevant Project Management experience
- Specific experience within the Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain domain
- Specific knowledge of basic Transportation operations able to speak with non-technical individuals such as operators
- Experience with MS Project, Planview or similar Project Management tracking tools
- Strong experience managing project finances and overall budget has successfully managed a budget up to 2M
- Excellent communication, ability to work seamlessly across both technical and non-technical teams
- Strong attention to detail and risk management, change management and security considerations
- Has successfully managed projected in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Go-getter mentality, someone who takes initiative and will hit the ground running

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Specific experience working in the Transportation domain
- PMP Certified
- Bachelors degree or advanced education
