Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Estimator/ Admin Support resource for a growing entrepreneurial design and US manufacturing company that uses unique system of aluminum extrusions to provide solutions to operational challenges for our national blue-chip customers, including architects, landscape architects, general contractors, designers, executives and managers of theme parks, hospitality, healthcare, shopping centers, and airports. We are looking for someone who will take pride in ownership of the custom solutions the team creates, including modular planters and roof deck landscaping systems, screen walls and enclosures, weatherproof hospitality cabinets, benches, and other fixtures.



Responsibilities include -

COMMUNICATION: The work requires you to be organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator in concise written and clearly understood spoken English both with our customers and our team.

SHIPPING MANAGEMENT: Online quoting and booking shipping for incoming and outgoing orders. Confirm all photo documentation is received from our shipping / receiving department, send outgoing shipping confirmation to customers.

ORDER MANAGEMENT: Support team in Order Quoting, creation of Fabrication Documents, and closing documents after order has shipped.

BOOKKEEPING / RECORD KEEPING: Provide ongoing bookkeeping and administrative support to the office, supporting organizational efficiency through daily operations and special tasks. You will maintain key records, including inquiries, customer orders, purchase orders, and shipping.

INVENTORY RECONCILIATION and PURCHASING: Confirm availability of parts for orders, create purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, match against receiving, and enter into inventory.

Required Skills & Experience

*Proficient Math, Spelling, and Computer skills, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Publisher. You will be trained to work with costing templates and fabrication documents in JobBoss2 (ex-E2 Shop System)

*How to create percentages and conversions from fractions, decimals, millimeters, etc

*Creating formulas in Excel on a spreadsheet for solutions/calculations

*Basic bookkeeping/ accounting in QuickBooks

*Purchase ordering - materials

*Enjoy working as part of a team in a casual office environment

*Strong Organizational and Communication skills

*Deadline and Detail-oriented

*Reliable transportation. Office has free parking and is located 10-minute walk from Coconut Grove Metrorail.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

*Previous experience in Estimating, Bookkeeping, and Inventory Management
