Job Description

· Assist the Innovations Manager in the development and management of the technology innovation pipeline and roadmap.

· Engage in research and evaluation of new technologies and enhancements not currently implemented, aimed at improving customer and user experiences.

· Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Digital, and Support teams to integrate and create a cohesive technology experience.

· Contribute to the design and development of new solutions, evaluating make vs. buy decisions and vetting vendor solutions.

· Support the development of prototypes and proof of concept testing.

· Coordinate with internal teams for innovation initiatives, pilot programs, and operational readiness assessments.

· Manage the setup and maintenance of the IT lab, ensuring it mirrors the restaurant environment for accurate testing and development.

· Act as a liaison with stakeholders for executing technology requirements and ensuring solution reliability.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and opportunities in the QSR space.

Oversee and contribute to the implementation of support processes for hardware and software solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the QSR, Hospitality, or Retail industries.

· Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, networking infrastructure, and software and network troubleshooting skills.

· Analytic skills - being able to identify problems, review problems, and come up with solutions.

· Effective communication skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Need to be okay to lift equipment into the new innovation center.
