Job Description

A Client of Insight Global is looking for an accounting technician to joint their team full time in Pensacola, FL. Responsibilities include preparing and contributing to the development of the department/division budget, including forecasting, budget analysis, and reconciliation, as well as tracking, monitoring, and updating department/division projects, processes, and information outlets such as websites, financial records, and daily operational functions. This position involves responding to routine, non-routine, and escalated information requests from customers, both internal and external, and preparing and submitting formal communication correspondence on behalf of the department/division. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator will oversee department/division accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring charges are made to appropriate sub-objects/accounts, while also managing operational and employee-related processes such as public records, contract management, payroll, and performance management. The incumbent will serve as a liaison between the assigned department/division and internal departments/divisions of the City, as well as external agencies and organizations.

Required Skills & Experience

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public

administration, accounting, or related field;

4+ years of experience in invoicing, requisitions, purchase orders and payroll
