A client in Miami Beach aims to bring the best retail, hospitality, and experiences through real estate brokerage and advisory by bringing in an HR Manager that has a background in accounting. The client specializes in both landlord and tenant representation, relies on market knowledge, local relationships, and consumer trends to deliver the best service to their clients.
Responsibilities
*You will be responsible for managing the accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, payroll, and budgeting
*In addition to the accounting functions, you will also be responsible for all Human Resources activity
*Process, manage, and track payroll, benefits, and employment status changes
*Maintain resident accounts
*Prepare and distribute budget information to department managers
*Monitor all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, accounting records, and budgets
*Submit financial information to proper resource
JOB SUMMARY
* Office Manager
o Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff
o Implement office policies per established standards and procedures, measuring
results against standards and making necessary adjustments
* Accounting and QuickBooks
o Oversee the organization's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and
financial planning
o Audit and verify all QuickBooks accounts and monitor categorization of expenses
o Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
o Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and yearly reports
o Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements
* Internal Data Input for Transactions
o Stay updated on financial software and technology to optimize financial processes
o Input leasing information into software (CommercialEdge)
o Calculate Commission and submit an invoice to appropriate parties
o Handle all accounts receivables and follow-ups
o Pay all outside brokers and collect W9's
* Agreements
o Track signed and pending agreements including listing and commission agreements
and important date notices
* ADP and Human Resources
o Handle all ADP payroll, salaries, bonuses and reimbursements
o Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
o Maintain employee records and handle basic HR functions
* Software and Contractor Agreements
o Maintain all software accounts and costs
o Track renewal dates and license agreements
o Maintain contractor agreements
* Bookings
o Book all company travel, events, meals, and handle scheduling when needed
* Events
o Handle all sponsorship agreements, invoicing and payments for events
* Communication and Data Input
o Handle various forms of data input as needed
o Facilitate communication within the office and with external partners
