A healthcare client in Orlando, FL is looking for a Director of Operational Finance. As a Director of Operational Finance, you will report to the Senior Director, Finance, CFL and lead the Operational Finance function for all of our regional operations. You will oversee a cross-functional team that provides financial management, financial reporting, budget development, manpower requirements/staffing analysis, and decision support. You will also communicate monthly financial close and results to the Home Office, assist with and provide supporting financial documentation and analysis for operations and growth initiatives, and conduct financial reviews for proposed initiatives. You will be responsible for analyzing financial performance and trends for all operating units and identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Hospital's charge-master is accurate, defensible and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in development of operating and capital budget formulation.
- Assist with the monthly general ledger close process via data provision, analysis, and preliminary review.
- Prepares financial for CFL senior and department management
- Provides financial decision support in evaluating operations, proposed initiatives and relationships.
- Conducts manpower and staffing reviews to match resources to operational requirements.
- Recruit, retains, and develops staff in operational finance
- Maintains currency in professional field by participating in periodic professional education
- Acts as Senior Director, Finance, during absences of incumbent.

- 5-10 years' experience with Finance/Accounting responsibilities (preferably in management or director level)
- Healthcare experience
- Master's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of healthcare accounting and finance concepts, and hospital and physician billing methodologies
- Excellent relationship building and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial decisions like evaluating operations and proposed initiatives, etc.
- Experience with manpower and staffing reviews
